Islamic Studies

The main ingredient of the education for students at Tayba Islamic School is the development of their Islamic faith and identity. The focus of the Islamic Studies curriculum is to familiarize the students with the Islamic beliefs and practices, and to enhance their understanding of the practical aspect of their faith. The approach we use is designed to instill a love for Allah (SWT) and an acknowledgement of the Prophetic example. Islamic studies encompasses various strands of Islam, such as Islamic History, Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH, Prophets and Companions stories, Aqeedah, Fiqh, Adaab and Hadith

The Islamic Studies curriculum is built around a series of ethic-based themes, and incorporates age-appropriate learning materials and activities. We use TIA’s Islamic Studies curriculum, designed from scratch exclusively for TIA’s students, putting their needs in mind. TIA Islamic Studies book -1 is complete and we are currently working on book -2.
