We would like to welcome you and thank you for your interest in enrolling your children at TIA. TIA accepts students in Grade 1 through Grade 8, space permitting. Please be advised of the following general information regarding the admissions/registration process:

Admissions Process

Students applying for the TIA Hifth Program will be tested in August, before the school year starts. Teachers will assess the memorization of Juz’ Amma and the ability to read any text from the Quran. Parents will be notified of the results via email. Personal interviews will be conducted with parents of the students that have passed the test.


Transfer Students

TIA accepts transfer students. Transfer students will be placed in the appropriate grade by the principal. The placement decision is also informed by other relevant documentation and by consultation with the parents and the student. Please contact the school administration for an appointment to discuss the transfer.

Re-Enrollment / New Registration information 2020 – 2021

1. Onsite registration will be open on January 11+ January 25, 2020 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm

. If these dates are missed, please call or email the school for other registration dates.
2. The following Registration documents must be filled, signed and submitted to the school:
● Completed Student Registration Form;
● Completed Parental Agreement Form;
● Completed Medical Information Form ;

3. Please provide copies of the following (only for new registration):
● Canadian Birth Certificate(or a copy of the student’s citizenship);
● Immunization Cards;
● Health Card;
● Two recent passport sized photos;
● Last report card from the previous year.

4. Please bring cash or a cheque for the Registration fees & Resources fees. For the tuition fees, the admin will set you up for monthly tuition fees withdrawals or you may choose to pay the tuition fees with postdated cheques, collected fully at the time of registration.

Registration and Tuition Fees

Important notes:

  • Registration and resource fees are a one-time fee/ school year, paid at the time of registration that are non-refundable. They can be paid cash or by cheque. Please make the cheque payable to: Tayba Islamic Academy.
  • Registration fees are annual fees irrespective of the date the student joins the school.
  • Monthly tuition fees are due on the 20th of the month and are due from August 2019 –May 2020, for ten months of the Academic Year.
  • A portion of our tuition is considered a charitable donation according to Canada Revenue Agency guidelines. The exact amount of the donation/receipt varies from year to year based on the audited financial statement.
  • Withdrawal requests have to be emailed to the admin at: admin@taybaislamicacademy.ca. The last date to submit a withdrawal request is on December 20 of the year. After December, the tuition fees are a one year commitment and are non-refundable.

Fees Structure:

Registration Fees: $75/student
Resource fees: $100/ student
Tuition fees 1st child: $400/student/month for 10 installments
Tuition fees 2nd child: $375/student/month for 10 installments
Tuition fees 3rd child: $350/student/month for 10 installments
