Tayba Elementary School was founded in July 2019 with the commitment of serving the Muslim community of Waterloo, Kitchener, Cambridge and Guelph. Tayba Elementary School provides an Islamic learning environment with a commitment to using effective teaching pedagogy to cultivate and advance a comprehensive academic program, which is fully compliant with the Ontario Curriculum.

We believe that Allah SWT gives each child gifts and talents to be used in His service SWT. We believe that education is not just a process of providing information, rather it is a task of shaping and creating a certain kind of people. We believe that we must educate our students by addressing the head, heart and hands as a response to our holistic view of the child.

Classes at Tayba Elementary School are medium to small in size which make it a close knit community. Small nurturing classes and individualized attention help students discover and hone their intellectual, physical, social, ethical and artistic abilities.
Tayba Elementary School inspires our students to make the study of the Quran part of their daily lives, a lifelong endeavor started in their youth, along with, not instead of their academic studies and other activities.

I look forward to the continuous success and growth in all our returning students, and also look forward to providing a flourishing environment to our new students allowing them to grow islamically and academically.
I ask Allah SWT to help us accomplish the objectives we have set for this year and the years to come. I am confident that with the grace of Allah, the Most Merciful, our amazing staff, parental support, and the help of the community we will InshaAllah be able to face the challenges, and achieve our goals.
